My name is Vy (Vee).
For sixteen years, I lived in a body that was quietly asking to be heard.
I didn’t have language for it yet, only signals. Chronic fatigue. Mysterious symptoms that conventional care couldn’t fully resolve, even after years of appointments and a lot of money spent. I functioned, but I didn’t feel fully inside my life.
In 2020, after years of living with Breast Implant Illness (BII), I chose to explant. What I thought would be a physical decision became a turning point. It didn’t just change how I felt in my body, it changed how I wanted to live.
Healing stopped being about fixing myself and started being about listening. Learning how to come back to my body with softness. Rebuilding trust through daily choices: how I eat, how I move, how I rest, how I clear what I’ve been carrying, and how I make room for joy again.
That’s where detox became something different for me. A way to reduce the load, strengthen the basics, and help the body do what it already knows how to do, especially in a world that asks a lot of our systems.
Today, my explant is integrated into my story, but it doesn’t define me. What once felt like an uphill battle became a quiet catalyst. It guided me toward a slower, more embodied way of living that still works for real life.
JOIE DE VY is where I share that path, and where I offer tools that make lifestyle shifts feel doable and even joyful.
Detox protocols that are self-led, paced, and designed to support real women with real schedules.
The Urbal Collection, made for the “urban hippie”, the high-performing city-dwelling woman who wants a slower pace without losing her edge.
Urbal tees and teas with a mission through my Purchase with A Purpose Project, where proceeds help fund clean water wells in underprivileged countries.
Wellnessentials, my curated Amazon list of everyday swaps and resources that support the rituals, routines, and reset seasons you’re building.
I share all of this as a reminder: your body is wise, your symptoms are communication, and healing often invites you to become someone new, not someone “fixed.”
Welcome home to your body. I’m so glad you’re here.
